No, not in the way you are thinking. I look back at the turning point of this and I can't see where the humour is. Clearly we have different boundaries.

I believe it had been piling up and her implying that he didn't love her cos he didn't want her underwear was the last drop and it tipped him. Like he said, maybe she doesn't notice how she is coming across. And it's not that he thinks she is being serious but kinda crossing the line. She is like family for him too and that's why that line of joke is not always humorous. He also doesn't feel sexually harassed XD...but offended really. If you want, they could talk,...
